Day one, immediately after landing I arrived at my hostel, Jacobs Inn. Upon checking in I was told my bed wasn't ready but could leave my bags and go on a free walking tour offered by the hostel. So instead of a well needed nap I decided to tour the city with a bunch of strangers, who believe it or not ended up being some of the greatest people I've ever met. Post tour, me and two other Americas, two Germans, and Australian and a New Zealander attempted to navigate our way through Dublin to the Guiness Storefront but ended up at a backpackers pub crawl instead.
This morning the jet lag hit me hard as I slept in before grabbing a scone and coffee and walking over to the National Botanical Gardens that sat next to the Glasnevin Cemetery. Tomorrow I'll navigate the trains while I try and find my way to shores of Galway.
